Course Kit is a new set of tools to help instructors improve how they create, collect, and give feedback on coursework.
We’re bringing the collaborative capabilities of Google Docs and Drive to Learning Management Systems through the Learning Tools Interoperability standard. The toolkit will include an assignment tool which allows instructors to create and grade assignments using Google Docs within their LMS, as well as file embed tool to embed Google Drive files.
When instructors save time on the grading process, it allows them to spend more time giving feedback to students. This toolkit offers brand new features that enable richer, more personalized and efficient feedback built right into the Docs experience, including a comment bank.
Within Course Kit, instructors can seamlessly create new assignments, receive completed student work and grade within their existing LMS. Educators can also embed course materials from Google Drive into LMS pages, making it simple to share files.
Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides are powerful tools for educators and students alike, and contain useful features to give detailed feedback when grading. This suite of productivity tools also helps students and teachers collaborate and communicate seamlessly and securely across devices.
We’ve launched a beta program for Course Kit. Fill out the form below to request Course Kit for your institution.
